What is Green with Indie? It's an eco-friendly indie art &
craft show organized by the STL Craft Mafia and sponsored
by the Environmental Studies Committee at Webster
University.
This is one of the few eco-friendly indie craft fairs in the STL
area - we will feature many local artists, vintage treasures,
locally-grown organic greenery, and more.
Everything is earth-friendly, salvaged, upcycled, recycled,
home grown, home made, revamped, refurbished, and 100%
unique.
What does green mean to us? Green means using your
resources wisely - and crafters never waste! Every scrap is
used and reused - there’s nothing more earth-friendly than
creativity! We are passionate about using local resources and
putting our money back into our local economy.
Our goal is to help educate and inform people of all ages
about the benefits of green, organic, and eco-friendly
products and services. In addition to the handmade goods, we
will also have many informational booths on everything from
growing organic food at home to making reconstructed
clothing from vintage & used thrift store finds!

by the STL Craft Mafia & Webster U's Environmental Studies
Committee.
Where and when? This fair will be held in
Webster University's Grant Gym, at 175 Edgar Rd, Webster
Groves, MO 63119. 314-968-7060 for information. Parking
is available in the Garden Plaza Parking Garage for visitors.
This is a 1 day event - Saturday, June 5.
Time TDA, but likely 10 am to 6 pm.
How much is it? It's free to apply. There is a participating
vendor fee of $45.
What kinds of artists are you looking for? We're looking
for indie crafters & artists who are willing to take the "green
challenge" and make original handmade art in the spirit of
eco-friendly creativity. We're looking for the most creative
handmade goods out there - start upcycling, recycling,
repurposing, and turning trash into handmade treasure!
We realize that not all of your current inventory will be made
of recycled materials, but please try to make the bulk of your
show inventory eco-friendly. We are also looking for a few
sellers of funky vintage goodies. Prepurposed, baby!
We are streamlining the show this year - only one day
instead of a 2 day show. Keep in mind, if you were accepted
last year you are not automatically accepted this year and
still need to apply.
Make sure you apply before the deadline and fill out all of the
fields completely. We will notify applicants via e-mail.
