3. What does green mean to us?
Green means using your resources wisely. Get creative and think about how to make trash into fabulous handmade treasure. We love everything that is earth-friendly, salvaged, upcycled, recycled, home grown, home made, revamped, refurbished, and 100% unique. We truly feel that handmade is a great alternative to mass produced. Handmade goods generate much less waste and are so much cuter. We are passionate about using local resources and putting our money back into our local economy. Our goal is to help educate and inform people of all ages about the benefits of green, organic, and eco-friendly products and services.
4. How will you decide who gets to participate in the event? And how will you decide who gets a Premier Corner Booth?
GWI is a juried show. The GWI organizers will select what we believe is the best blend of products consistent with the overall event theme. Premier Corner Booths will be asigned based on product creativity, display, and event theme. Applicants will be notified of participation status in mid to late January 2012.
5. Can I split a booth?
Yes, but no more than two vendors to a booth.
6. How will the word get out about the show?
The GWI organizers are a PR happening team. We have purchased space in RFT eblast, we will have loads of signage, use Facebook and Twitter like crazy, post on many websites, hang flyers, and more. Rest assured we will spread the word. As a vendor, we expect YOU to spread the word about GWI too. Please post flyers, use social networking sites, and contact your customers to let them know all about GWI.
7. Cancellation
If you decide you are no longer able to participate in GWI, we will be sad, but we understand life happens. Please let us know as soon as possible because we expect to have a lengthy wait list of folks who would love to have your spot. Booth fees are non-refundable. If GWI must be cancelled due to circumstances beyond our control (although we certainly don’t expect it..things like extreme weather conditions, fire, zombies), your vendor fee will not be refunded. Fees are spent on advertising, insurance, and space rental well before the show takes place.
